Wrecker Driver 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Peachtree City, GA 30269 We are looking for a Light Duty Tow Truck Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. This job will be done remotely, but primarily in the cities of Newnan, Peachtree City, and Fayetteville, GA. Driver responsibilities include towing customers vehicles, changing their tires, jump starting their batteries, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, and managing payments. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for the transportation and needs of their vehicles. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR and background, MUST be 25 or older, and pass drug screenings. We are looking to hire drivers on call, as well as night shift 12 hour drivers as well. Weekend availability is a must. Responsibilities Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip Pick up clients and their vehicles from the place and at the time they’ve requested Collect payments and issue receipts Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed Familiarity with smart phones Safely loading and unloading customers vehicles Skills Proven experience as a Driver A valid driver’s license A clean background and MVR Familiarity with GPS devices Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods Availability to work weekends A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) Ability to follow instructions given by dispatch and management Ability to learn and adapt to our training
