Ramp Transport Driver Ramp It Transportation Services Union City, GA 30291 Full job description Ramp It Transportation is a rideshare platform focused on pre-scheduled Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). We are currently seeking full time non-emergency medical transportation drivers who are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible. Drivers are to be responsible for transporting wheelchair and ambulatory members to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, physical therapy, as well as cancer treatment centers, etc. in a safe, secure and professional manner. •Must not have any suspensions on 7 year MVR (motor vehicle report). Job Responsibilities Transporting members to appointments, treatments and dialysis utilizing Ramp It Transportation company vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Effectively communicate with dispatch team regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions. Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to members and coworkers. Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Assist members as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations. Understand and operate GPS on cell phone. Understand and utilize transportation app provided. Perform other duties as assigned by dispatch. Requirements Driver Qualifications and Education Requirements

NO MOVING VIOLATIONS

in the last 3 years, no need to apply if so. Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner Must possess a valid Georgia Drivers License and has NOT been suspended. Must have a clean background check and driving record and pass a drug screen Available to work varying hours between 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Must have a stable work history with a track record of being reliable and ON-TIME Must be able to perform Must have a high school diploma or GED Preferred Skills Previous NEMT experience Ability to work well under pressure Be able to multi-task Have a passion for helping others Excellent communication skills BLS or CPR certified Physical Demands This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing wheelchairs and crouching frequently throughout the day. Days and hours of work vary by schedule. Early morning and an occasional holiday may be required as schedule demands. There are no MEDICAL or DENTAL benefits at this time
