Job Description
Propane Delivery Driver Southern Quality Propane Inc Cairo, GA 39828 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and holds the necessary licenses for propane handling and vehicle operation. K ey Responsibilities Safely operate a propane bobtail truck to deliver propane to customers on assigned routes. Accurately complete delivery tickets, meter readings, and customer paperwork. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs. Monitor tank levels and advise customers on safe propane use and maintenance. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Valid CDL (Class B or A) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain). Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks. Strong communication and customer service skills. Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
CETP certification(s) Prior experience in propane delivery or service Knowledge of local, state, and federal propane safety regulations
