The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Driver will operate a heavy-duty pickup truck and goose-neck trailer, ensuring timely delivery of freight. The driver would run regional routes allowing more home time with weekend work as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy duty pickup truck and goose-neck trailer. Secure freight safely, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage in compliance with regulations. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism at all times. Qualifications Valid Driver’s License is required. Clean MVR Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members. Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
