What your day may look like: Work in the yard truck to organize tractor trailers as needed Ensure trucks and trailers are ready for unloading, loading, and transport Verify status of equipment on property Operate yard switcher or tractor to move trailers around the warehouse Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment Keep equipment clean and operating safely What we require : Minimum one-year verifiable yard driving experience Valid drivers license with a clean driving record No DUI in the past 5 years Successfully complete road/pre-trip test in yard switcher High school diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card Must 1 year Yard Switcher experience Use of Yard Management Systems Experience Southeast Independent Delivery Service is an equal opportunity employer.
