We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of freight during transit. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. Load and unload freight securely to prevent damage during transport. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding commercial driving. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road and at loading/unloading sites. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, and tankers is preferred. Strong knowledge of truck operation, maintenance, and safety standards. Experience as a delivery driver is an advantage. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
