PURPOSE:

The Greenville (GREE) Warehouse/Shipping Department is committed toproviding high quality products and service that meet our customers expectations. The primary responsibilities of this position willbe to stage the production floors and move products to locationswithin the plant or warehouse as necessary. Position reports to theWarehouse & Distribution Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as backup for CDL-A Driver when other driver is out onvacation. 90% of the time your job will be working as a Material Handlerin the warehouse. $20/hour plus $3.50 per drop. Follow all Company policies as outlined in Handbook Follow all Berry GMPs, Safety Absolutes and Safe WorkingPolicies Follow all safety and food safety policies Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Daily inspection and care of equipment. Follow All Departmental SOPs. Communication/Interaction/Support of all departments. Work Overtime as assigned. Locate material into inventory per MEP. Cycle Count and Pull material from inventory for workorders. Load/Unload/Relocate material as needed perInventory/Production/Shipping/Quality Controlrequirements. Accurate and legible completion of all requiredpaperwork. Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor. Operate dock equipment, correct, or report any issueidentified. Comply with receiving of any material (raw materials, packagingmaterials, office supplies, production supplies, maintenancesupplies and others). Assist/support all warehouse personnel. Verify, identify, and inspect a variety of incoming materials,supplies, and finished goods from operations. Responsible for various inventory transactions using barcodescanner and/or computer system. Understanding of shipping/loading requirements, weightrequirements, customers special instructions. Warehousing (moving product to maximize usage of warehousespace) Trouble shoot any material problems including inventorydiscrepancies, freight damage, contamination, packaging, orhandling issues. Responsible for ongoing development of a team member senvironment. Have an understanding of the correlation between production andwarehouse finished goods, fixing any issues with the pounds andscanning orders. Responsible for quality control of pallets, cores, cradles,boxes, other packaging materials received by shipping no damageproduct received.

QUALIFICATIONS

Posses CDL-A license – a min of 1 full year of CDL-A drivingexperience. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent training Previous forklift experience in a manufacturingfacility Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Must complete training to obtain Berry issued forkliftlicense Possess basic computer skills Possess basic math skills Able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to bend and reach overhead;stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours Able to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Qualified Drivers, please
