Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Waste Collection Worker/Toter in Williamson, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and transporting residential garbage and recycling containers. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Waste Collection Worker/Toter job you’ll be responsible for: Manually moving garbage and recycling bins from the curbside to the truck.
Assisting driver with loading and unloading materials.
Ensuring bins are emptied safely and efficiently, then retuned properly to the curb.
Monitoring for non-compliant materials or improperly sorted waste.
Following safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. May assist in cleaning spills or debris during routes. What you’ll need: Physical demand that involves lifting, pushing and pulling heavy containers.
Must be OK with working outside in various weather conditions.
Must be OK with early morning starts and repetitive motion throughout the day.
