The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of vehicles, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods or passengers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to handle different driving situations with professionalism. Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, and limousines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and tow trucks when necessary. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service during passenger transport or delivery services. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and mileage logs. Assist with minor mechanical issues as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role. Ability to operate various types of vehicles including school buses, tow trucks, and flatbeds. Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems to optimize routes. Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Experience in military driving or specialized vehicle operation is a plus.
