CDL Box Truck Route Driver Job Overview:

Newsom Oil Company is a Florida-based company, looking for delivery drivers. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, company. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Follow routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Make deliveries of oil (55 gallon drums that weigh 450 pounds using a drum dolly) in accordance with customer needs and company policies
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate driving logs
• Early AM start (Monday
• Friday) 3-4 day work week with 40 hours guaranteed (55 hours possible)

Experience:

• Prior experience as a commercial truck driver is preferred
• Familiarity with various truck types and their specific requirements
• Ability to handle different cargo loading and unloading techniques

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach

Full-time Pay:

With OT, Safety and Operational Incentives our drivers are earning between $1,500

• 2,000 per week
