64 Stephen Dr. Toccoa, GA Responsibilities This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to contribute to their community while engaging in physically demanding work This full-time role involves working under direct supervision to collect residential refuse along designated routes. The position requires physical labor, as employees will be responsible for the collection and disposal of refuse and recyclable materials, including yard waste and heavy objects. Employee will also be responsible for helping the driver navigate the route and assist with maneuvering the truck into or out of locations. Empty trash cans and other containers into the garbage truck, manually or with the aid of a mechanical arm. Identifying and removing prohibited items from the collected waste. Assist with location site cleanup if necessary. Assist with the unloading of truck at designated landfill or waste processing facility. Record and confirm the completion of each pickup. Follow all required safety policies and procedures and wear the necessary safety apparel. Complete daily tasks as directed by the supervisor in a cooperative and consistent manner. Understand the operations as a whole to make the best decisions and problem solve that will best benefit the company. Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work in a Drug Free Workplace; must pass drug and alcohol testing. Available Monday – Friday; willingness to work some Saturdays Available to work Holidays Strong work ethic and ownership mentality. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Act with professionalism, courtesy and cooperation toward all customers and co-workers; work with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness. Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner. Good follow through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise. Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures to promote the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks. Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.

Salary and Benefits:

We pay on a weekly basis and overtime is paid at 1.5x regular rate after 40 hours.
