You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of products and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Transportation Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA. location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. You will also contribute to maintaining a positive relationship with our customers through your professionalism and excellent customer service skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and box trucks, to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods and materials using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues or concerns. Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation and delivery operations.

YOU MUST HAVE

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a truck driver. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Ability to lift and carry 35lbs
