Box-Truck Laborer / Driver Trainee 1.6 1.6 out of 5 stars Baton Rouge, LA 70801 Wil-Sites Truck Lines, LLC. is a full-service commercial truck company providing material transportation for the building and construction industry. We seek a career-minded Box Truck Laborer for our Baton Rouge, LA, location. Deliveries are local with respect to the home store’s geographical area, and all employees are home daily. This position requires the strength and stamina necessary for a full day of physical labor. Also, even though this is a laborer position, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record is still required in order to be consider for the driver trainee aspect of this position. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing safe, secure, and efficient delivery service for our customers communicating professionally and taking direction from the lead driver, store dispatchers, and job site contractors maintaining proper upkeep of company vehicles and equipment assisting in keeping an accurate and current daily electronic log throughout the workday lifting, moving, and properly placing objects ranging from 50lbs to 100+lbs coordinating and working with the rest of the truck crew when necessary to deliver heavier objects Applicants should: have state-issued driver history report dated within 30 days be at least 21 years of age have a valid driver’s license have reliable transportation be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Wil-Sites Truck Lines offers competitive wages based on experience and is an equal-opportunity employer.
