The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Duties Operate various types of vehicles, including but not limited to flatbeds and tractor-trailers. Ensure timely delivery of freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made. Handle loading and unloading of cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Previous experience pulling flatbeds and tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in freight transportation is beneficial.
