The Equipment Operator serves as a representativeof HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationshipwith clients/customers. Key Responsibilities:

Act as safetyrepresentative responsible for safety policies and procedures ofboth the company and the customer, including hands-on informationregarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response andadministrative functions; Hands-on operation, when required, ofmanual and automated hydroblasting equipment; Operation of specialequipment, such as Ultra High Pressure pumps; Operate equipment byenergizing the pumping equipment and/or any specializedhydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks andcutting equipment being used on the job; May be required to examinesurface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customerspecifications; Perform routine maintenance on company equipmentbeing used on the job; Perform any and all duties associated withliquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders; Direct a crew of vacuumtechnicians; Transport equipment and personnel to and from customerlocations; Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logsand complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements;Loading and unloading hoses; Unload vacuum truck at the dump site;Provide general maintenance in the field; Perform other relatedduties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Execute a 180-degreerotary motion of the cervical spine in order to allow completemovement of the head and neck; Must be able to hold and operatewith both hands a double trigger hydroblast shotgun and otherhydroblast equipment; Climb ladders and work from scaffolding andstationary platforms up to heights of 200 feet; Tolerate andfunction in confined spaces of a minimum of five (5) foot insidediameter; Hold the back thrust of 50lbs. on a straight 66″ pipe fora minimum of one (1) hour; Must be physically capable of using bothnegative pressure and air supplied respirators; Duties includedriving heavy equipment for long periods; Must be able to wearprotective clothing and/or equipment. This includes, but is notlimited to, nomex coveralls, a back belt, slickers, rubber boots, afresh air breathing mask and escape pack, and a hard hat; Workunder extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of95degree Fahrenheit, 98% humidity; and sub-zero weather conditions)relative to geographic location; Exposure to dust (chemical andenvironmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highlypressurized fluids. (A respirator will be provided when required.);Noise levels exceed 85 dBA (hearing protection is provided andrequired). What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial? Specificvocational preparation including classroom safety training,on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehendsafety training and respond to instructions in emergencysituations; Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B and otherrequirements of company’s driving policy required when drivingcompany vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business; Mustbe knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such asfire extinguishers; Experience operating a vacuum truck. Smartphonerequired for Electronic Logging Device; Working knowledge ofoperating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
