Dedicated Driver 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 311 Holiday Boulevard, Covington, LA 70433 Primary role will be delivering merchandise in a prompt and professional manner while increasing customer satisfaction.

Further duties include:

pulling and packing orders for customers; loading pipe onto customer’s vehicles; receiving and organizing inventory; maintaining a neat and tidy showroom, warehouse, and pipe yard; and active participation in inventory counts. As an ambassador of the store and of Keeling Company, respect for the customer is vital. If, or as, the branch requires, training will be provided for you to be a backup sales associate.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload cargo from Keeling Company delivery vehicles Communicate with customers and Branch Team to determine pickup and delivery needs Report any incidents encountered on the road or at the destination immediately to the Branch Manager or Keeling Co. Leadership Follow all applicable traffic laws Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel Keep truck and associated equipment safe, clean and in good working order according to the Keeling Company Truck Policy Strive for inventory accuracy of 100%, maintaining all inventory policies including but not limited to proper inventory movement, cycle counting and the annual physical inventory Handle paperwork, such as receipts or bills of lading. All employees must adhere to the policy that no material leaves the property without the proper paperwork. Manually or by Forklift move material from one place to another as warehouse and pipe yard needs demand. Stock store displays and shelves as required Ensure that the store and all its properties are upholding the expectation of the Keeling Co. brand of exceeding customer service expectations, cleanliness, atmosphere, and high energy. All other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Branch Manager or Keeling Company Leadership Team. Employees of Keeling Company have the right to refuse dangerous or unsafe work.

Education/Certifications/Skills/Abilities:

DOT Medical Certification Ability to drive Box Truck Ability to drive a manual transmission Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. From the floor Forklift certification provided by Keeling Company Clean Motor Vehicle Report provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles Proof of automobile liability insurance Ability to use the computer for e-mail, invoicing and inventory management High School degree or equivalent CDL is not required but a plus Prior sales and/or warehousing and delivery experience a plus Keeling Company is a completely tobacco free workplace.
