- Nights and Weekend shifts The Falmouth Ice Arena is a 50,000 SF facility located in Falmouth, MA consisting of 1 full-size NHL surface and a ½ sheet (85′ x 87′) surface.
Our facility has the reputation as being one of the cleanest and best maintained facilities, and we strive to provide our patrons with the best facility for all events. As the Rink Operator/Zamboni Driver, you will be responsible for insuring that scheduled events are on time by providing prompt ice cuts throughout your shift, performing housekeeping/maintenance, and being able to interact with ice arena patrons professionally. Job Details
- Operate the Zambonis and other equipment in a safe and careful manner
- Maintain ice scheduled
- Maintain cleanliness of facility
- clean locker rooms, lobby, and bathrooms
- Monitor equipment and notify GM of any irregularities
- Perform light maintenance as necessary
- Open and close the facility on time according to the schedule
- During inclement weather
- shovel walkways and put down ice melt
- Work with all other employees respectfully and professionally
- Perform other duties as assigned by GM Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check (CORI)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18 + years old
- Must be punctual, organized and be able to follow procedures
- Must be able to work without supervision and handle situations in a calm manner
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs Compensation Compensation is based on experience
