Farmers Market Crew and Driver for Organic Farm Red Fire Farm 184 Meadow Road, Montague, MA 01351 Are you interested in helping build the local food scene in 2025? Are you looking to get in a weekly workout and have lots of fresh organic veggies to take home? We are looking for a local food loving person to help at our markets and in deliveries of produce to other local businesses. We are looking for new crew members that are excited about organic vegetables, and have some retail experience for our Farmers Market Crew! Your day will start early in the morning at our farm in Montague, where you’ll help load and drive a box truck to your assigned Farmers Market. You set up a beautiful display, talk to customers, and then bring all the gear back at the end of the day. Then to supplement hours during the week, we have delivery days where you will load up our truck with produce and take it to local customers around Massachusetts, from CSA members to restaurants to grocery stores, working with great people along the way. We are looking for strong, dependable team members to be available for the season from now to November. (There are winter market hours and other work opportunities available too!)

Requirements:

A warm smile with an upbeat attitude, be able to lift 30-45 lbs repeatedly, and you must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record. You must be willing to follow Red Fire Farm policies, in addition to any market location specific policies. We can train you on all our wild diversity of vegetables and fruit, but it’s great if you like to talk about food!

Compensation:

The pay is $15.50-$16.25/per hour, based on experience, PLUS all the organic veggies you can eat to take home AND the ability to trade with some of the other market vendors for more local goodies! Positions start now! Please apply soon – positions are open until filled.
