Position Overview:
As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of USPS packages and mail to various postal facilities. This position offers stable routes and consistent work, perfect for drivers seeking a long-term role with excellent earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 26′ box truck in compliance with USPS regulations and safety standards ( SAFETY
WEST WEARING, HARD SHOES,FOLOWING RULES ABIOUT TRUCK
CHOKING WHEELS,TURNING OFF
ENGINE… Pick up and deliver mail and packages according to schedule( no late No exuses) Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Ensure all cargo is secure during transport Provide exceptional customer service at all USPS locations Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required but preferred) Clean driving record Ability to pass a USPS background check ( including a drug screening ) 1+ year of box truck driving experience preferred Familiarity with DOT regulations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
