The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated local area, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. Duties $27.50/hr, CDL B, 7 AM Start Time, Monday through Saturday (Alternating with a weekday off during the week. We can be flexible on which day is scheduled off typically Monday-Wednesday are the days with less CS work), delivering/picking up containers to customer locations (primarily residences), No Touch, containers are unloaded w/ a Podzilla (hydraulic lift), https://www.pods.com/resource-center/container-delivery-requirements will be required to block/level truck prior to unloading, deliveries to VT/NY, averaging 10-12 hour days, Automatic Trucks Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in training new drivers on route driving and vehicle operation as needed. Skills 3 months of verified experience in class B CDL route driving with a strong understanding of local roadways. Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of freight handling procedures. Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and clients. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
