Night Shift:

• Safely and efficiently operate yard trucks and other heavy equipment to move trailers and freight within the yard
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Transport trailers to and from loading docks, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up
• Maneuver trailers in tight spaces, including backing up and making sharp turns
• Secure trailers using appropriate methods, such as chocking wheels and connecting air lines
• Communicate with warehouse personnel to coordinate trailer movements and prioritize tasks
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, including trailer numbers, load information, and departure times “`Qualifications“`
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers, tractor-trailers, or heavy equipment preferred
• Knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
• Ability to safely operate roll-off trucks is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with warehouse personnel
• Basic automotive repair knowledge for minor maintenance tasks
