HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Huber Heights, OHis looking for a Class A or B CDL Operator to join their safetyconscious team! The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe andproper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all services lines.
Supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew andcompletes turnarounds with management oversight at client’s site inaccordance with client and business requirements and companypolicies, practices, and procedures. KeyResponsibilities:
Act as safety representative responsible forsafety policies and procedures of both the company and thecustomer, including hands-on information regarding operations,safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions;Hands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment;Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or anyspecialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment,vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job; May berequired to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance tocompany and customer specifications; Perform routine maintenance oncompany equipment being used on the job; Perform any and all dutiesassociated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders; Maydirect a crew of vacuum technicians; May transport equipment andpersonnel to and from customer locations; Completes pre and posttrip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehiclepolicy and DOT requirements; Loading and unloading hoses; Unloadvacuum truck at the dump site; Provide general maintenance in thefield; Perform other related duties as assigned.
RequiredQualifications:
Specific vocational preparation including classroomsafety training, on-the-job training and essential experiencegained on other jobs; Language proficiency: understand English at alevel to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions inemergency situations; Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B andother requirements of company’s driving policy required whendriving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on companybusiness; Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device;Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) maybe required; Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergencyequipment, such as fire extinguishers; Experience operating avacuum truck; Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wetand dry vacuums.
