The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Duties Operate box trucks, to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies. Assist with moving items as needed, ensuring heavy lifting is performed safely. Capable of driving to assigned truck site locations using personal vehicle. Skills Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload cargo effectively. Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and routes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
