Driver?s license background check is required. Driver?s must have anacceptable driving record and be insurable by employer?s insurancecompany. Driver must have ability to transport logs and other woodproducts to both U.S. markets and Canadian markets. Driver must passmandated drug and alcohol tests. Operator must comply with landownerenvironmental regulations. Drivers transporting logs and other woodproducts to Canadian markets must have a valid passport or passport cardin order to reenter into the United States of America after deliveringtimber products to Canada. Individuals entering Canada at aninternational port of entry in Maine may be asked for proof of identity,such as a driver’s license or photo ID.
