The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various routes. As a Driver, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle diverse types of equipment hauling. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Drive responsibly while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Experience operating various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, loboys and flatbeds Strong knowledge of load securing techniques and safe driving practices. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
