NEMT Driver Rides 4 Ability Joplin, MO 64804 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. The Driver must have a vehicle that is registered and insured and have a valid driver’s license. This position will be a contracted position. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist passengers with luggage or mobility devices. Document any incidents or delays promptly. Skills Familiarity with paratransit operations and regulations is preferred. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with passengers. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices to ensure safety and reliability. Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and team members.
