The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of products. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Previous experience in courier services or moving industries is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Must be physically fit to handle lifting and moving items as required.
