We are seeking the following for current and future openings:
Warehouse/Distribution Center Associates We are looking for a teamplayer with proven retail distribution success to work in afast-paced distribution center.
General Summary:
Will primarilymove trailers in and out of doors at DC and place them in spots onyard. Will also transport trailers between off-site locations.
Essential Functions:
Under the direction of the department managerand team leaders will perform required trailer switches. Mostswitches are urgent and critical. Transport trailers betweenoff-site locations. Responsible for performing daily inspections ofyard equipment and reporting all defects. Ensures units aremaintained in a safe manner. Performs general warehouse dutiesdepending on DC needs, including loading and unloading of trailersand use of forklift equipment.
Qualifications/Basic JobRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required
- Must be DOT qualified with a current class A CDL.
Must be able toback 48′ and 53′ trailers proficiently. Driving record (MVR) mustbe acceptable. There are physical and mental requirements of theposition as it is typically performed. Inability to meet one ormore of these physical or mental requirements will notautomatically disqualify a candidate or employee from the position.
