We run up to 650 miles from Southaven 1099 Drivers ONLY Random alcohol & drug test twice a month Background checks Electronic Log Books Driver will be loading & hauling cars & trucks We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading & unloading automobiles safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operations, including the ability to handle various types of trailers such as flatbed or car haulers . The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties Operate and drive trucks equipped with manual transmission and various trailer types, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections DAILY of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving laws while maintaining a professional demeanor on the road. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and tankers is preferred. Experience in load unloading practices as well as route driving is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts is a plus for loading and unloading cargo efficiently. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo handling. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
