Job Summary:
Responsible for the disposal of all waste to include but not limited to; the weighing of the material completion of manifest upon receipt of material from all customers for the proper unloading and staging of the material when delivered to the facility Responsible for operating the Rotoclave systems in the destruction of the Medical Waste Responsible for the help of the Haulers in loading and unloading the material and containers off of and on the route trucks Responsible for cleaning the reusable containers after the material is emptied into the Rotoclaves Responsible for the routine cleanliness of the system to include but not limited to; Rotoclaves, shredders, loaders, conveyor belts, flooring and compactor cleanliness of all areas of the loading and unloading docks of the facility inside and outside Operates the route vehicles in all aesthetics of picking up and delivering material and supplies from all customers when needed. Responsible for the Cleanliness of the route vehicle Reports to Supervisor. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with co-workers, customers, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Performance expectations Successfully operate the rotoclave systems. Successfully receive and process material without disruption and injury during workflow. Successfully maintain a clean and safe work area. Successfully pick up material on the routes for each day.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills High School Diploma Preferred Work Experience:
1 year Driving experience Preferred; No driving or medical waste experience required Additional Certification/Licensure – Obtained based on required timeframe below
Minimal Class C CDL Licenses Upon Hire Preferred Mental Demands:
Minor level of Mental Demands are expected
