Class D-Driver Position Available In Harrison, Mississippi

Responsibilities:

Operate a Class D vehicle to deliver produce to customers’ locations (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.). Ensure timely and accurate delivery of produce orders according to the delivery schedule. Load and unload produce deliveries with care, ensuring products are secure and undamaged during transport. Verify delivery orders and customer information to ensure accuracy. Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, handling complaints, and building strong customer relationships. Assist with inventory management and restocking of products in delivery vehicles. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order. Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including maintaining a clean driving record. Document and report any issues or delays to supervisors in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading produce. Previous delivery or driving experience preferred. Strong time-management skills and ability to adhere to a schedule. Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in all weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience delivering perishable goods, such as produce or refrigerated items. Knowledge of local routes and geography is a plus. Forklift certification or experience (not required but a bonus). PandoLogic.,
