Job Description
Duties:
Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
Load and unload cargo.
Properly track and document the activity log.
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
Inspect the truck before and after the trip.
Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates, by e-mail, telephone, or in person.
Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields.
Commercial drivers license.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Strong work ethic.
Good communication.
Have a clean driving record to be put on the company insurance.
Be able to follow safety procedures.
Thorough background check to showcase clean history.
Live within 40 miles of Pass Christian.
Education:
High School and experience of at least 3 years in the field.
