Job Description
This is a full-time Maintenance Technician/Fuel Delivery Support position located in Purvis, MS.OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Worker with a CDL B license and Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enter the fuel and equipment services industry and build hands-on technical skills. No prior fuel delivery experience is required-just a strong work ethic, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn. On-the-job training with opportunities for advancement. Supportive team environment. Consistent schedule with local routes-home every night, Monday through Friday; day shift. Benefits package (health, dental, retirement, etc.).ResponsibilitiesSafely deliver fuel on a part-time basis to customer sites as needed. Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting and general upkeep of equipment. Deliver and set up empty fuel tanks at customer locationsInstall pumps and related equipment on-site. Perform basic service and maintenance on tanks, pumps, hoses, and related systems. Maintain accurate delivery and maintenance records. Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
starts at $22.00/hr
QualificationsRequirements:
Valid CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. At least 2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a manual transmission. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn on the job. Strong attention to detail and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
Preferred but
Not Required:
Previous experience in fuel delivery or equipment maintenance. Familiarity with tank and pump installations.
