We are seeking an experienced Shunt Driver for our Byhalia, MS location. The position is scheduled for 2nd shift, from 2:45PM-11:15PM, Monday- Friday. What you bring:
Must have valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Must have a clean record in the National Driver Register.
The ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles safety and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills for managing paperwork and logs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
Forklift certification required
Load and unload

product and materials from pallets and trucks.
The ability to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague What you will be doing: Maneuver tractors and trailers onsite safely, adhering to Company rules and regulations.
Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks.
Understand and implement Lock Out Procedures, ensuring all relevant equipment in your area of responsibility is properly secured.
Be aware of potential hazards related to the job, such as driving motorized vehicles, exposure to moving vehicles and equipment, and working around high stacks of products. Take appropriate safety measures accordingly.
Ensure trailers are accurately and securely positioned in the yard and at the docks.
Adhere to the designated speed limits as per Company policies.
Handle trailers and finished products with care to avoid damage.
Ensure products are labeled accurately.
Be accountable for the quality and quantity of products placed in the warehouse or loaded onto trailers.
Be capable of driving a forklift and lifting heavy objects from pallets and trailers as needed.
