ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions Statement(s)Comply with safety practices, rules, and regulations while performing job duties and follow company procedure in reporting unsafe conditions or practices.
Safely drive and operate company vehicles, digger derrick, backhoes, boom and pole trucks, fork lift, and safely operate power tools.
Facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
Be knowledgeable with FMCSR regulations concerning load securement and weight regulations for commercial vehicles.
Ensure material and equipment make it safely to the destination on schedule and appropriate paperwork is complete.
Maintain professional interaction with internal and external customers.
Complete pre-trip checking: including inspection of vehicle, check fuel, oil and water levels of vehicle, brakes, tires and lights, adjust all mirrors for safe operation of equipment, check and secure load.
Assist in performing maintenance as needed.
Assist with washing and maintaining equipment in proper working order.
Be in close proximity of work area to anticipate the needs of the crew, prepare tools and operate equipment for crew members for the particular work being performed.
Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Safely control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
Keep unauthorized people away from work area.
Work as a team and fulfill any and all other duties and tasks as assigned.
QualificationsEducation :
High School graduate or GED.
Experience :
Minimum of 24 month’s experience in related field
Certificates & Licenses:
Possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class APass and maintain DOT Medical Certification
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with Oversize/Overweight Loads, RGN Lowboys and Traveling axle trailers is a plus.
