East Main Street, Wallace, NC 28466 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong route driving experience, excellent sales skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products along designated routes. Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Manage inventory on the vehicle, ensuring accurate product counts and quality control. Upsell additional products or services to customers during delivery interactions. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and deliveries. Perform heavy lifting as required when loading and unloading products. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients. Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing and transactions. Sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling products during deliveries. Must be able to lift heavy items as part of the delivery process. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
