This position is responsible for safely operating company vehicles while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive travel experience for all passengers. Operators are responsible for local, regional, and long-distance travel assignments, including single-day and multi-day trips. Assignments may include charter service, contract routes, and scheduled runs, with availability needed seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Motorcoach Operators are expected to perform all driving duties safely, courteously, and professionally, complying with all federal, state, and company regulations. Operators will maintain open communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers, while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey. Responsibilities include assisting passengers with boarding, unloading luggage, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing routine vehicle service such as fueling and adding fluids, and completing required paperwork, including inspection reports, hours of service logs, and incident reports. Successful candidates must be at least 25 years old (or 21-24 with prior bus experience), possess a valid CDL Class A or B with a passenger endorsement, and hold a current DOT medical certification. A minimum of one year of commercial driving experience is required. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, the ability to handle customer service situations professionally, and a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and assignments. Operators must have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and complete pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 lbs waist-high, carry 70 lbs over a distance, and install tire chains when necessary. Motorcoach Operators must be comfortable climbing onto and around vehicles to complete inspections or minor troubleshooting as needed. Consistent work is expected, with drivers required to complete at least two assignments per calendar month to maintain active employment status.
