Job Description
Driver 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 201 South Buckoak Street, Stanley, NC 28164 We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. This is a non-CDL driver with overtime available. Local deliveries! We offer a sign on bonus after 90 days and a full insurance package after 30 days. At times when not driving, the candidate will be required to assist in the shpping department with various task.

Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials from manufacturing plant or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Skills Proven work experience as a local truck driver. Our trucks do not require CDLs. Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid driving license
