Driver (Independent Contractor) D&C Prestige Services Stem, NC 27581 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. As an independent contractor, you will be provided a set schedule to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Duties Operate your own vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment for efficient loading and unloading processes. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary documentation. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Skills Familiarity with moving operations and warehouse environments is a plus. Proficient in operating automatic transmission vehicles. Strong ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently (as needed). Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on communication and professionalism. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
