Driver Elite Truckers High Point, NC Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This position requires proficiency in operating various types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, and flatbeds. A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate diverse routes are essential for success in this role. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and roll-off trucks. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Requirements Valid driver’s license Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, tankers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks is preferred. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and records. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
