In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring timely deliveries. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while adhering to company standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities Have reliable car, SUV, Cargo Van, or Box Truck to make deliveries in. Maintain commercial insurance for cargo. Load and unload cargo. Navigate assigned routes effectively while ensuring timely delivery of goods. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record. Ability to work independently while following company guidelines and safety protocols.
