The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, hauling Construction & Demolition waste to landfills, dump sites, and recycling centers. The material you will be hauling includes but not limited to: Trash, Brick, Concrete, Stumps, Brush, logs etc. Our drivers must be aware of what is expected from a Machine operator for loading purposes. Experience in Equipment Operation is a plus. This role requires operating a PTO/Wet Kit with a 40′ long 8′ Tall High Side Framed Trailer. Experience with Dump Trucks & Trailers is preferred. Highly Requested. The awarded applicant must keep truck and trailer cleaned and greased on a regular basis. MUST be proficient with an 18 speed. A road test will be conducted. This is not a learning position. Responsibilities Drive safely to haul debris and waste to Landfills Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Fill out proper paperwork at the end of each day. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information as required by law. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Demonstrate proficiency in driving both manual transmission vehicles and automatic trucks. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with route driving techniques and logistics planning. Knowledge of operating End Dumps, Dump Trucks, Loaders, Excavators.
