Position Overview:
As a Truck Driver Recruiter, you’ll play a vital role in sourcing, screening, and hiring talented truck drivers to support our operations. You’ll work closely with our team and hiring managers to understand our staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Proactively sourcing and attracting qualified truck driver candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and industry associations. Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates’ qualifications, skills, and fit for available positions. Building and maintaining relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience and facilitate a seamless onboarding process. Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and priorities, and providing support throughout the hiring process. Tracking recruitment metrics and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in recruiting, particularly in the transportation or logistics industry, is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with candidates and colleagues. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in using recruitment software and online platforms for sourcing and applicant tracking.
