DESCRIPTION
Abernethy Contracting is seeking a Lowboy Driver. The ideal candidate will, at a minimum: Drive and haul material AND equipment. Follow all DOT Regulations. Perform truck inspections and conduct preventative maintenance. Track and document activities. Use mobile phone with GPS. Follow all safety protocols. Communicate effectively. Respect and follow leadership and directions from supervisor. Treat co-workers, subcontractors and customers with respect and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS
Three to five years of experience in commercial driving, with construction experience a plus. Must have experience with the following: Oversize Hauling, Paving Equipment and Dirt Equipment. Ability to work at high production rates. Must possess a Class A Drivers License. Possess a DOT Medical Card. Ability to pass Clearing House Screening. Ability to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Screening. Commitment to safe work practices. Have reliable transportation. Seven-day availability if needed.
