The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate tractor truck and dry van trailer Plan and follow optimal routes for timely delivery while considering traffic conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Experience At least 2 years experience with a class A commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
