Route Driver/Sales RJ Snacks LLc 821 Planters Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to upsell products, and a commitment to maintaining a safe driving record. As a Route Driver, you will play an essential role in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle to deliver products to designated locations on time. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide outstanding service. Engage in upselling opportunities during deliveries to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Handle heavy lifting of products as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory counts and customer signatures. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on assigned routes. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in route driving or sales is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed throughout the day. Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in previous roles. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.
