Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Grapple Truck Operator (Knuckleboom) to join our waste services team. In this role, you will operate a grapple truck to collect and transport bulky waste materials from residential and commercial locations.

Responsibilities:

Operate knuckleboom (grapple) truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes Load, transport, and unload bulk waste and debris in compliance with company policies and local regulations Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment Maintain clean and functional equipment, reporting any mechanical issues Follow all DOT regulations and safety procedures at all times Interact courteously and professionally with customers and the public Complete necessary logs and paperwork accurately and on time Work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A or B Previous experience operating a knuckleboom or grapple truck preferred Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good physical condition – must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of truck frequently Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the waste, recycling, or environmental services industry Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Strong communication and customer service skills
