Interstate Fire Protection is seeking a dependable and motivated Driver/Field Helper to join our growing team. This dual-role position requires a skilled driver with a valid CDL Class B license who is also capable of providing hands-on support to our field technicians in the delivery and installation of fire protection systems. Key Responsibilities Driving Duties

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including box trucks or service vehicles requiring a minimum CDL B license, with Hazmat and Air brakes.
• Transport equipment, tools, and materials to job sites in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure vehicles are properly loaded, secured, and compliant with DOT and company safety regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly. Field Assistance Duties
• Support field technicians with the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems (sprinklers, suppression, alarms, extinguishers, etc.).
• Assist with setting up tools and equipment at job sites.
• Carry and organize materials, tools, and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform cleanup of job sites and assist in loading/unloading equipment. Qualifications
• Valid CDL Class B license (required).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Experience in fire protection services, construction, or related fields (preferred but not required).
• Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.
