Tow Truck Operator Send it towing and repair llc 93 Jenness Road, Epping, NH 03042 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent customer service skills. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely transporting vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every interaction. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles safely. Load and unload vehicles using flatbed or wheel-lift towing equipment. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the tow truck to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during roadside assistance calls. Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for customers. Perform minor mechanical repairs on vehicles when necessary. Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Qualifications Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic automotive repairs. Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Previous experience in a towing or roadside assistance role is an advantage.
