The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailer,, and flatbed models. Drive routes assigned for local or long-distance deliveries. Load and unload heavy equipment as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections. Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS technology or maps as needed. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, compliance, and customer service. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer and flatbed vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of local and regional roadways. Ability to load and unload equipment safely, demonstrating knowledge of proper techniques. A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
